About stallion station De Radstake
The Radstake used to be a household name and still is today. De Radstake was a centuries-old well-known inn with a farmhouse on the historic Hessenweg (Romienendiek) in Varsseveld. Now the farm has changed to Hengstenstation De Radstake and the inn has become a restaurant with dancing and function rooms.

Stallion Station De Radstake is a versatile company and has been active in stallion breeding, breeding, trade and sport for over 60 years. Thanks to the excellent international breeding results of our own broodmares, we rank high in the European Ranking.
Besides the successful offspring of our brood mares, the offspring of our stallions are also doing remarkably well, including our pride Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve. The 29-year-old stallion has been able to contribute a lot to breeding and we hope he will continue to do so for a long time. His children stand out internationally and achieve many victories.
Besides stallion breeding and breeding, we also have a number of show jumping and dressage horses at international level, which are performing well. We also have talented horses of different ages and levels available for sale, both for show jumping and dressage.

The family business, The Radstake
Stallion station De Radstake has been passed down generation to generation. De Radstake was set up by Hendrik Venderbosch who started by keeping broodmares. These brood mares were used on land and for breeding. Unfortunately, Hendrik died at a young age, but fortunately his son, Johan Venderbosch, took over the business.
Johan took a keen interest in breeding. So the goal for him was to take breeding to the next level by looking at what horses needed for the higher sport. At that time, he came across the young stallion Pericles xx Pref. (Relic xx x Big Game xx) and bought this stallion immediately. Pericles xx Pref. was a thoroughbred who eventually meant a lot to international breeding.
From then on, De Radstake grew into Hengstenstation De Radstake and Johan's three children, Henriëtte, André and Robert, also joined the business. Henriëtte and André started focusing on the horses part and Robert started focusing on the restaurant, dancing and hall complex.
Legendary stallions for breeding
It started for De Radstake with the legandary stallion Pericles xx Pref. (Relic xx x Big Game xx). This was followed by Amor Pref. (Herrscher x Loretto), Le Mexico Keur (Mexico x Brule Tout), Calvados Keur (Uriél x Ibraham x Hornet), Cadmus (Supreme court xx x Abernant xx) and Viscount Keur Pref. (Landgraf l x Cor de la Bryère x Mandarin). These are all legendary stallions that have meant a lot to breeding and have put Hengstenstation De Radstake on the map internationally.
Currently, we also have a strong group of our own top stallions available, including Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve Pref. , Corydon van T&L, El Salvador, Demonic Z, Monator and Napardi, as well as SWS stallions.
