Corydon himself was an impressive sight under saddle with Frédéric Vernaet. With consistent performances, he delivered no fewer than 52 clear rounds since his very first international appearance! Carefulness, suppleness, power, and presence are just a few of his standout qualities. A natural talent. Unfortunately, Corydon suffered an accident at the wash area, and the resulting injury brought an early end to his sporting career.

Corydon is one of the best breeding stallions of his age group

His offspring speak for themselves. They are very correct, show exceptional suppleness in movement, and are already performing remarkably well in sport today! His first approved son was Quatre Mai-L (Corydon x Toulon), who was crowned Champion of the BWP Stallion Approval in 2019. Other well-known offspring include Paulus-L, Conan van de Koningspolder Z, Playboy vh Weidse Hof, and Coryfee T&L Z. As a result, he ranks among the top four stallions of his age group in the Hippomundo ranking.

Many successful showjumpers and approved stallions come from Corydon’s damline.

Corydon is approved by Zangersheide and the Oldenburg studbook, and he descends from Cornado I x Chacco-Blue x Lancer III. In 2013, he was named Reserve Sieger at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing.

His sire, Cornado I (1.60m/1.65m), is the world-renowned grey stallion who rose to fame under Marcus Ehning. His dam’s sire is none other than Chacco-Blue, the extraordinary stallion who holds the number one position in the FEI rankings. A truly world-class achievement. Corydon’s granddam is also the dam of Chacco’s Son, who successfully competed at 1.65m level with Maurice Tebbel. In addition, Corydon has a brother and sister currently performing at the 1.60m and 1.55m levels. This exceptional damline has produced many successful showjumpers and approved stallions.

The semen of the stallion of your choice can be ordered through our webshop or by contacting us directly.

If your mare is not in foal, a veterinary certificate must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2025. In the case of a mare not in foal by one of our own stallions, the stud fee will be €300 excluding VAT, shipping, and administrative costs.
